Shake, Shake, Shake that Christmas Shaker card!!!

I'm warning you it's going to be an influx of Christmas cards, only 3 1/2 months until I need my ticker tape filled or overflowing. Since this is the week I have lots of time to make cards at the lake I'm going to take advantage of it. Again I used my favourite ~~ House Mouse Designs, I have a lot more Christmas stamps than I thought I had when I went searching for something to bring with me, The one I picked is Stocking full of Love featuring Amanda and Maxwell.

After I coloured the stocking (which btw looks great in blue too) I had no real plan on what I was going to do with it. I decided a 5 X 5 square card and because the die cut fancy square was too large for the cut image I decided to make a frame well once I had the frame cut it then became a shaker.

Red beads from Dollarama were perfect but fun to corral

(ps: the last shaker card i made used those tiny micro beads and I SPILLED THEM... ack... still havin' flashbacks...) (& still finding tiny clear beads wedged into previously unnoticed gaps in the hardwood floor...) :0
