Shopping Our Stash Challenge #241 ~~ White Out (no white cardstock)

Wow it's March, February just seemed to fly by, we sure had some weird weather in February cold, snow, rain, double digit temperatures now back to cold, we have made it so far and Spring is peeking around the corner.

Shopping Our Stash has done it again, a super interesting challenge White Out we don't want you to use any white cardstock. I don't think I've made many cards without white, first you stamp your image on it...hmm well what can I stamp on coloured cardstock? flowers, trees, a sentiment, all sounded good but I decided to die cut something. Here it is.......

This is a gatefold card with a belly band. I used a die from Impression Obsession to cut the panels in the Night of Navy cardstock, This die can be used two ways, as I have used it and to cut a total panel that you can adhere to the front of a card. The belly band is navy and I used a punch to make the blue section on the front, the punch is also dual use, it can also be used as a border punch by flipping a switch, A butterfly  was attached to the front, to open the card you slide the belly band off.

Belly band is off to open the card.

The inside light blue panel is 4 1/8 X 11 scored at 5 1/2 and folds down to hide the sentiment,

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you will join us in the White Out Challenge this week.
