I hope all my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Shopping Our Stash let the U.S. half of the Design team have a week off to enjoy the holiday without stress of crafting. Since our Thanksgiving in Canada has been celebrated over a month ago I offered to make a card for the challenge. I'm getting the hang of just using die cuts for a card although the little fir tree was MIA for a day or two, I found it attached to the magnetic plate under the cutting plate on my big shot and the Merry Christmas was there too. So here is what I made for Challenge #229 No Stamping.
The deer, fir trees and sentiment are from Impression Obsession
Here is the card closed.
Thanks for visiting today and head over to the SOS Blog to see more inspiration.

i KNOW! it's dec 1 and I'M NOT READY!!!!!!!!! :0 but somehow the calendar does not care, lol! meanwhile, you are ROCKIN' the non-stamping xmas cards, missus! this one is a particular fave of mine! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteLove those deer! And yeah, magnets and dies don't mix. I don't have a magnetic plate for the Big Shot, but I lose my MISTI magnets a lot.
ReplyDeleteI am finding that as we get into winter, cardstock is having a great time getting stuck by static just about anywhere I might not think to look. ;) Glad you found your tree and sentiment to make this beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteoh Barb, this is magical!!! I love it!
