Shopping Our Stash #200….WOW

Shopping Our Stash 200th challenge and do we have an awesome challenge for you to celebrate it….BIG, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL!!!!! use something big (letters, flowers, ribbon...), or bold bright colors or images. I was having trouble with this one, I think I was over thinking the challenge or maybe had too many ideas but here is what I finally came up with.

Okay peeps, don’t look too close as this was my first attempt at water colouring with my distress markers.I used a very large stamp, it was bigger than an A2 card, obvious I haven’t used it much. It is a retired one from Stampin’up and thought it would be a LARGE surface for me to work with,

I’m not sure water colouring is my forte’ but I am pleased with the end result
Thanks for stopping by today and come celebrate challenge #200 with us at Shopping Our Stash head over to the blog read the rules for entering and don’t forget to have a look at what the rest of the design team have made.

  1. I remember this stamp, and it's BIG, fer sure. Well done with the water coloring. I find I have moments where it works for me, and moments I just need to walk away. Not my thin, either. WE CANNOT DO IT ALL! :)

  2. Your first attempt at water colors is very good, Barbara! I have a huge stamp like that and I have only used it once or twice (they are nice for decoupage, though). Nice job! This challenge had me stumped as well! Shhhh..just between you an me, I think Leslie plans these things! :D)

  6. I love that big beautiful flower, and is perfect for this challenge.
One thing with water colouring, I don't think anyone can make a mistake…even if painted over the lines.
I like it for fast colouring.
