Week 2 of Challenge #112 Black and White continues
I love this center step card as it is an A2 card 4 1/4 X 5 1/’2 You can adjust the size of the center by making the side pieces a bit narrower. The dies I used are Spellbinder fancy labels and Memory Box Latchette border.

Challenge #203 ~~~ Play Misty For Me
At Shopping Our Stash we want you to “Play Misty For Me” -- use a mist/spray of some kind. Either store-bought or make your own. This one was a stretch for me as I have only used a spray once, I have three of them at least I didn’t have to go “shopping” or make my own, one of my DT teamies sent me two shimmer sprays one clear shimmer and the other pewter so I used them both. We are at the cottage for the weekend and I had to pack supplies and hope I packed the “right stuff” and I didn’t do too bad. My image is from Sweet Pea Stamps and it is named Steam Punk Old Lady by Sandra Caldwell.
I grabbed the gears embossing folder as I was thinking it went well with the image, of course I could have brought my cogs punch to use. I had better get more organized next week. the two embellishments are from my stash. I used both clear and pewter shimmer sprays. I used a cardboard box to spray the layer after I embossed it. I went for a 20 minute walk while it dried, when I came home the cat was in the box, (I can’t see any shimmer on her)
This little embellishment was in the bottom of my tote that I carry my equipment in, and it just fits the theme perfect. I also distressed the layers,it only seemed right that I do it for steam punk. I wish you could see the shimmer.
Clear it Out Tuesday ~~ It’s all about the Girls
Clear it Out Tuesday’s Challenge theme is “Girls” and the stash item is Die cuts. What could be easier? Karleigh Sue Digis is the sponsor for this challenge, this is a new sponsor for us so head over there and see the super cute images.
Now isn’t this image just adorable, I was crafting at the cottage this weekend and I managed to take the right supplies with me, My die is a card creator die and I added a few rhinestones I also used an oval die from Stampin’ up (it is larger than the spellbinders) Coloured with copics and attached to GP white cardstock.
Close up of her adorable face.
I didn’t finish the inside of my card as that was the part of packing I omitted, never thought about sentiments for the inside.
Thanks for stopping by today and let’s see those girly cards but don’t forget to use the die cuts too.

Challenge #112 at The Cheerful Stamp Pad is B&W
I did figure out it’s very hard to photograph a screen fold card, the first pane I fussy cut the image out added a punch out from a page that has been sitting on the table for weeks and three rhinestones. The top was punched with Fleur Dis lis border punch from EK,+
Don’t you just LOVE the snowdrops on the second pane, they are beautiful, I added a white butterfly and a white sparkly button tied with a narrow ribbon, The third pane I’m not sure what flower/weed it is but I added a black sparkly button with the same ribbon tie on it.
Final pane of the screen fold card is daffodils, I used a second butterfly and added tiny black dewdrops to the corners.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will join the Cheerful Stamp Pad and Lunagirls for the Black & White Challenge.

Challenge #202~~~Silver AND Gold
Looking for my Clear it Out Tuesday post scroll down or click HERE
May 24th is our FOUR-YEAR ANNIVERSARY! (use both silver and gold) [Is anyone else singing "Make new friends, but kee-eep the o-old, One is silver and the other's gold" ??] This is the new challenge at Shopping Our Stash head over to the blog and check out what the other DT members have created. Now this should be an easy peasy challenge but I struggled, I embossed a tree not once but twice, didn’t like either. Then I thought oh background embossed in both silver and gold an other fail (to me) Then while rummaging in the Christmas stamp boxes (yes plural) I found the one I created with. Check it out!!
The stamp is an old one from Stampendous named Wiseman, I stamped two times with versamark and embossed one with gold pearl and the other in pewter (silver was mia) I fussy cut the gold and elevated it. I added the gold circle to the silver star.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will join the gang at Shopping Our Stash for the silver and gold challenge.

Shopping Our Stash #200….WOW
Shopping Our Stash 200th challenge and do we have an awesome challenge for you to celebrate it….BIG, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL!!!!! use something big (letters, flowers, ribbon...), or bold bright colors or images. I was having trouble with this one, I think I was over thinking the challenge or maybe had too many ideas but here is what I finally came up with.
Okay peeps, don’t look too close as this was my first attempt at water colouring with my distress markers.I used a very large stamp, it was bigger than an A2 card, obvious I haven’t used it much. It is a retired one from Stampin’up and thought it would be a LARGE surface for me to work with,
I’m not sure water colouring is my forte’ but I am pleased with the end result
Thanks for stopping by today and come celebrate challenge #200 with us at Shopping Our Stash head over to the blog read the rules for entering and don’t forget to have a look at what the rest of the design team have made.

The Owls Challenge continues at The Cheerful Stamp Pad
The image was coloured with costal cabana blendablilities from Stampin’up, copic markers and spica glitter pens. The cardstock is Kraft by recollections, Bermuda bay (SU) and printworks patterned paper which I thought matched the flourishes on her dress.

Happy Saturday and just in time for a NEW Challenge
My favourite colour is Purple, all shades of purple so I did my monochromatic card in shades of purple. The base is Dark purple later that I stamped is wisteria wonder I used Versa fine purple to ink up the Flora background stamp (retired) from Stampin’up. I stamped the sentiment (also SU) on the wisteria wonder with the purple ink and layered it on a Concord grape fancy label die.
