Meljen’s Design Club on Facebook had a weekend challenge and gave us this awesome digi to play with, how fabulous is that? You should check out the store and see the great images they have and there is a 50% off sale going on right now, what a Christmas gift you yourself just click HERE to check it out. I have been trying to use colours I’m not fond of and green is one of them but the green I used kind of grew on me. Have a look at what I came up with for the challenge.
I think it needs a few more touches with a darker marker and might just give it a try. I was in a rush to get it done before noon today and just noticed that while looking at here.
Here is the finished inside using some scraps and the Top Note sizzix die.
Challenges I would like to add this to:
Meljen’s Designs #239 – Holiday
Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned paper challenge December
Catch the Bug 2nd Annual Holiday Chaos Dec. 8 colour challenge
I’m really working hard to get some Holiday cards done so every day you will see a new one (I hope) Thanks for hanging around my blog today and let’s see you get your craft on and join some challenges.
You did great with the green...the whole card inside and out is beautiful...and that background paper is awesome..tfs
ReplyDeleteFun card and love the large present and paper behind it. Thanks for joining us at Catch the bug for our Christmas chaos challenges
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card Barb! After purple I love green the mostest!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Barbara :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like orange that much…but when I challenge myself with using orange, I really like how they turned out.
A good challenge does that though :)
Oh I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a challenge to work with less-favourite colours - but like Tracy said I usually find I LOVE how those cards turn out!
