Challenge #178 Thanks or Thanksgiving

Wow this challenge couldn’t have come at a better time,  our neighbours dropped a lovely thinking of you card and a box of chocolates into our mailbox one day. I have been so busy I hadn’t made a card yet. (where are the extras when you need one?) I also needed to make it fairly simple of course because I was running close to the wire (again) Is there a procrastinators anonymous?

One of our ladies at our last “get together” showed us how to make this card. The punch is retired from Stampin’ up but any punch that cuts a strip will work and there are lots out there. The sentiment was cut with spellbinders oval and the lacy oval is a Nellie Snellen die. I added the butterfly and rhinestones.

The inside is finished with a plain white piece of cardstock and I have plans for a very short sentiment that we really appreciated their kindness.

    Of course there's a Procastinators Anonymous, but we keep rescheduling the meeting.

    I've seen this technique for the card front, and you've done a great job with it. I haven't the patience, myself. ;/

    Oh this is such a pretty card.
    I love the look of all the lacy die cuts.
