I didn’t get to play last challenge (insert sad face here) and I LOVE monochromatic cards but I managed to get one for this week. Now if you follow my blog or know me you won’t be surprised to find out I do NOT like distressing….so on that note here is what I cam up with for the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge 17. Don’t forget to stop by and get the rules and check out what my teammies have done.for your inspiration.
the stamp I used is from
Simply Betty Stamps I won it in a challenge from Graphicat designs. The background is Brick red distress ink smeared on the Tim Holt\ brick wall embossing folder on crumb cake cardstock.Happy Haunting was cut with my cuttlebug alpha letters. embellishments spider washi tape and a couple of bats I’ve had for eons. I distressed the edges of two layers with my scissors.
Here is the inside of the card, unfortunately I couldn’t locate my Halloween sentiments. I just added the spider washi tape to the top. I think that is super cute tape.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit today and I hope I have inspired you to join in the fun of DISTRESSING a project. Let out those pent up frustrations on some paper.
Oh my what a cute monster...great job on the challenge... tfs
ReplyDeleteYou and I, Barb, the NON-distress fans, both resorting to scissors for distressing! ;) Love this -- that brick wall is awesome! So is your colouring and the fun washi.
ReplyDeleteI no longer believe you when you say you don't like or can't do distressing! Look at this card! It's awesome! I adore the little bats on the walls!
ReplyDeleteYou are much better at distressing than you think you are. The brick wall and the edges go perfect together. I can't wait to dig out my Halloween supplies!
