Splish Splash I was Taking a Bath…….

Looking for my Clear it Out Tuesday post just scroll down.
Well not really but I did get out the “wet” products, The theme for challenge #163 at Shopping Our Stash is Splish, Splash and it mans to use a wet element on your project.Twinkling H20s, water colours, glimmer mists, check with the blog on more ideas. I had so many ideas but I decided on making two cards, the first I made a background with  Shaving cream & re-inkers. on shiny cardstock.

I love how this turned out, it reminds me of a wild storm. The boats are layered under the background and framed with the oval.

And now for the second card I wanted to use something I had only used in a class, I googled how to use it and this is what I came up with.using Silks Acrylic Glaze.

I smeared the glaze on  my silicone pad and inked the Hero Arts Flower Bursts Pattern background stamp then set it aside to dry as once dry it is permanent. Next step was to take a dab more of the glaze and add water to it then painted over the whole image,‘

I can’t remember the name of this punch from Stampin’up  but you can find the tutorial on how to make a coloured base for it HERE.

Since this is a thank you card the inside is blank so I can write a personal note inside.
Thanks for stopping by today  and I hope you can find some time to join us in the Splish Splash challenge.

  7. The shaving cream background is fabulous. Also, I might have just spent 30 minutes trying to find ALL the Silk Acrylic Glaze colors in stock ANYWHERE, then thought better of it and closed my browser. SO close.
