The same two sponsors again this week so two chances to win, QKR Stampede, and Digi Darla Designs both have fabulous digis. Last week I used a QKR stampede image so this week I used one from Digi Darla Designs, I picked a seaside image just because I was at the cottage for the weekend, I was working on a couple of cards, I try to remember everything I need but as you know by my other posts there is always something missing, This week I brought my rectangle nestabilities the large set of plain ones, and the small set of scalloped ones, after I cut the pieces I noticed duh. Added blue brads and some white ribbon and bow. ||the image was elevated with pop dots.

Are you ready for a New Challenge for you from Clear it Out Tuesday?
This challenge we are going to do some paper piecing, now I really haven’t done a lot of it, seems way to fussy for me but it looks great when it is done. I used an image from QKR Stampede for the first week of the challenge. I used a piece of design paper I have had for a long time and was sitting on my craft table just waiting to be used.

Second Week of the Sweet Challenge
I chose a gatefold card with a twist since a gatefold would show off the digi paper from Far Far Hill. The cupcakes are also a digi image, I added some sparkle to the icing and cherry, then attached the pink bow to the front for some dimension. The sentiment is from Stampin’up and just goes right along with the image.

New Challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad
Before I show you my card for the So Sweet challenge I must tell you about the trials and tribulations of my journey to the finished card. It was Friday and we were heading to the cottage for the weekend and I was trying to print the image that I wanted to use and it wasn’t working so went to plan “B” cupcake images from Inkadinkado. I packed all the equipment I thought I might need to us better too much than too little, or so I thought. Stamped and coloured the image, had my circles, and my big shot, everything was cool until I realized, no ribbon hmm so found a scrap of green scalloped green, now it’s looking good. Then the big one………………..no pop dots. I then took a piece of cosmetic sponge, cut it in little squares added red line tape on both sides then added it to the images, voila’ it’s finished.
Thanks for stopping by today and listening to my journey to the finished card. I think it looks pretty “Sweet”
Supplies
Image from Inkadinkado
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, GP White, Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Spellbinders circles, Sizzix Honeycomb embossing folder, stickles.

New Challenge at the Drunken Stampers challenge blog
The Midnight Margaritas would love to have you play along with My Best Friend’s Wedding movie challenge #131 at the Drunken Stampers Challenge Blog. Again I haven’t seen the movie so I took the alternate choice of using blue. I never realized how many movies I haven’t seen, we haven’t been to a movie theatre since Pirates of the Caribbean the Black Pearl and I am not one to sit in front of the T.V. to watch either (I’m usually napping if I do). Now to show you my card, I think the technique is emboss resist. I stamped the flowers with versamark watermark and embossed with clear embossing powder then sponged with blue dye ink over the embossed flowers. The butterflies were punched from some scraps left over from a class I went to.
Since I am now at the cottage and everything I used is at home I have no idea what the name of the flower set I used. The sentiment is from Stampin’up Heard from the Heart. Cardstock is GP white, Bashful Blue and pacific point, the ribbon is bashful blue everything but the butterflies is from Stampin’up.
Thanks for stopping by today and I’m glad you visited. Head over to the Drunken Stamper’s blog and have a look to see what all the design team members have for you to look at. They are awesome.

New Challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday…..Masculine
For this week’s inspiration I used a cute dino from Stamping Chef, such a cute “daddy’s day card”. Since dinosaurs are usually green I picked a lime green and of course my favourite colour purple. this reminded me of the dinosaur sweaters I knit for my older two grandsons when they were very young.
