An Apple a Day keeps the Doctor Away?
Who said pink and red do not go together, well it wasn’t me I like using them together and Stampin’up thought so to as the dsp I used is some retired paper from there. The image was coloured with prisma colour pencils and odourless mineral spirits. I added the 5/8 inch wide polka dot ribbon and 1/8 inch bow in her hair.
Thanks for stopping by today and please check out Clear it Out and join in on the second week of the challenge you might just win 7 free digis from Bugaboo.

Time for an ATC update………
The theme for the May ATC swap was Nautical Nonsense it was a fun one to do. I used a retired Stampin’up set Set Sail and the ink and cardstock were Blue Bayou, the dsp is also from a nautical pack from Stampin'’up., also retired. All my stamping buddies know how I am not fond of distressing but I love the way this turned out. I finished it off with a nautical knot made with beige cotton yarn.
As you can see I was at the cottage doing my crafting, I love taking the pictures on the deck.
Thanks for having a peek at what I have been keeping under wraps until all have been received.

Thinking of You………….Clearly.
A while back one of the ladies in our group hosted a Thinking of You swap, I had been given an Inkadinkadoo clear set for a Secret Santa last Christmas, it is one that I have been looking at for months and finally got some ink on it. The base of the card is 4 1/4 X 11 piece of clear acetate folded in half. I inked the Hero Arts background stamp with white stazon ink and stamped the front of the clear base. The poppy stamp was inked with momento black and coloured with pencil crayons and odourless mineral spirits. The image was layered on Ridinghood Red., then added the real red ribbon. Thanks for stopping by today to see what I have been creating. It is so nice to be able to take my pictures on the deck at the cottage.

Eyelets…..Do You Use Them?
The image I am using is called “The Big One” from Stitch Bear, Stop by the store and see what other fabulous digis they have. As I said before as soon as I saw the vest on the image I knew I had to colour it green, with that decided the rest just went together so quick. I used garden green and kraft cardstock, I coloured the image with prisma pencil crayons and odourless mineral spirits. I used copper eyelets on hiss fishing had and they were from my stash (I haven’t bought eyelets in five years) I added a copper brad for the fishing reel and I put sepia paper glaze on his glasses.
I hope I have inspired you to join us at Clear it Out for the challenge.

On a Cool, Rainy Weekend……..
You will never guess what I have been doing on this cool, rainy Saturday…..cleaning the refrigerator. It seems to have an issue with the “frost free” part and when I went to make coffee this morning I stepped in a puddle of water (at first was hoping that’s what it was), so I got the large camping cooler out of the basement and began to get the perishables into it with freezer packs. The dripping of water has slowed and I needed a break, so decided I should update my blog with some projects I have completed.
I love doing ATCs and this was one I made for a Cupcake ATC swap in March. I used a cute cupcake house mouse stamp, coloured with prismo colour pencils and oms. Cut it out with a spellbinder die added the baker’s string, flower and button with flower bling/
The theme of the April ATC was Music makes my heart sing. I embossed the music background stamp with versamark watermark and embossed with black embossing powder. The musical notes wee punched from shiny cardstock, I then added the ribbon and the cute heart button. Black and White with t touch of colour is just so classy.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog today and come back on Tuesday for the Clear it Out challenge. I will let you know then if my refrigerator problem has been solved.
