Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge #8 Make it a Banner Summer
As you see I left the most difficult challenges (in my mind) for last. I thought and thought about what to do for Katie’s challenge found here, finally I had an idea. I took a strip of Daffodil Delight and punched one side then I scored at 1/4 inch intervals, accordion pleated the strip attached it together and with score tape I attached it to a one inch circle. I added the one inch scored brown circle to the front of the “flower” attached the hand written For You banner and a red rhinestone to look like a ladybug on the flower. The finished card is a 3X3 gift card.
This is my second to last challenge for the Crop Stop Summer Blog Hop and I have enjoyed every one of the challenges. thanks to everyone that has put their time, energy and creativity to bring the Blog Hop together.

Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge #2…..Favourite Summer Song
Getting very close to the end of the challenges for the blog hop, it has been a blast and certainly stretching my imagination. challenge #2 found here was to make a layout with the title of the song as part of the journaling…………………I don’t scrapbook so I made a card to show my summer song “Sitting on the Dock by the Bay”
The image was coloured with pencil crayons and oms, the cardstock is Baja Breeze and the dp is from a DCW stack pack. The dies I used were lacy squares and fancy labels. Image is from SU set Summer by the Sea, the sentiment is from Inkadinkado.
Thanks for stopping by today, you are always welcome.

Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge # 7……your favourite pet
Although House Mouse is my favourite stamps to use I only had one with me at the cottage, I don’t know how that happened I usually have half my collection with me. I did have one of my second favourite “pets” ……….Fluffles, Here is where to find Agnes’s challenge.
I coloured the image with Spica glitter pens I used my Nellie, there are three dies in the circle set and decided to try using the two larger ones together and was very surprised and excited on how it turned out. I glued the larger scallop flush, glued the image to the smaller one and popped it up. I used Real Red and Georgia Pacific cardstock, a Stampin’up embossing folder.
Well I’m off now to create the last two challenges while I still have the ideas in my head. Check back to see what my favourite summer song is.

Crop Stop Challenge #10……let’s see the SUN
This is the final challenge of the Blog Hop found here but I’m not done yet. I still have 4 to be finished. I have been wanting to try a “Magic Card” for a while and thought this would be the perfect technique to use with the image I have. The set is a very old and retired Stampin’up set “Sun, Moon and Stars” I coloured the image with tombow markers and a yellow pencil crayon, the cardstock is Daffodil Delight, the dp is from a DCW stack pack with an Asian theme. The instructions for the technique I found here on Splitcoaststampers look in Resources.
Here is the closed card,
the image tab pulled half way
The magic is complete
Thanks for stopping today to see the “magic” I hope I have inspired you to try a new technique. Stay tuned there are four more challenges I will be posting before midnight on Thursday June 30th.

Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge #4
On Heidi’s blog found here the challenge was to have your project shimmer and shine, that’s not a difficult thing for me I LOVE stickles. My image was one of my first stamps, I bought it at a yard sale a long, long time ago…..it’s what started me on my card making life. I coloiured with markers and pencil crayons. The dp, although you can’t see it, has sparkles one each vertical line. I purchased the paper at a dollar store 2/$1.00. For the lacy circle I “broke out” my newly purchased Nellie.
It is nice to be able to take my pictures on the porch of our cottage, soon the clematis will be flowering and it will be even more beautiful/
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope to see you again. Please leave me a comment I love to read them.

Crop Stop Blog Challenge #6
I am moving ahead with challenges from the Crop Stop Blog Hop which was on June 19th and we have until June 30th to post the pictures for the challenges. I have been working on some today. Michelle’s challenge found here was Nature, bugs, flowers, butterflies and scenery. I love my bright greens, so I used a retired colour from Stampin’up, the nature dp is from a DCW paper stack bought at Winners. It is actually made with recycled materials. Love the little hedgies although I only have a couple, I used an image that was sent to be by a friend.. I coloured it with prismas and oms,.punched the butterflies out of vellum and coloured with markers.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my creation, come back again I will have some more of the challenges for you to see.

Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge #1
Vicki’s Challenge found here was to use pink, this is a colour I use a lot while making girlie cards. I’m still at home with the limited supplies, it seems everything I need I took to the cottage. We will be going again today and staying for 9 days, how nice is that. I’m franticly packing enough tools to be able to create a lot while there……hmm hope there is room in the car. Anyway back to the challenge, again I used an image that was given to me and coloured with watercolour pencils and a blender pen, The card stock is Pretty in Pink and the dsp is also from Stampin’up, added the sentiment using purely pomegranate ink The coloured pearls were from my ever growing stash of pearls and rhinestones.
Three challenges done and there are seven more to come, I hope you will drop in again to see what I have been up to.

Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge #5
As you can see I’m not doing the challenges in order, that is due to limited supplies here at home. I did have trouble deciding if I would do this for challenge 5 found here or challenge 6…..so keep tuned I will post them as soon as they are done.
I used a stamped image sent to me by a friend, coloured it with watercolour pencils and a blender pen…….oh how I need two sets of prismas. I “borrowed” the sketch from a card I received from that friend as well, I think it is an awesome sketch. The dp I used was from a DCWV “Green Stack” I found at Winners a while ago, love those 4 1/2 X 5 stacks. I cut the image out with Labels 13 die and added the buttons I bought from a CTMH demo. I then added my favourite thing…..Ice stickles.
The challenge was to use Summer colours, orange/yellow, tan/brown, blue, green and white. I think I covered everything. Thanks for stopping by there are more challenges to come so come back again soon. Perhaps I have inspired you to join in the Blog Hop which ends June 30th.

Crop Stop Blog Hop Challenge #3
We were at our cottage on the weekend and I didn’t get a chance to participate in the Blog Hop, I managed to find some time today to do a couple of the challenges. The first on i did was “Under the Sea” found here. I used a retired Stampin’ Up set called Crab & Company. I have taken a lot of my crafting supplies to the lake so I had to improvise with what I had left at home. I used my blender pen and water colour pencils to colour the image and the divine swirls cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.
This was a fun card to make and it has been forever since I have had a chance to post anything so keep tuned I will have a lot more to post soon. Thanks for stopping by to have a look at my creations.
